Overall it was a spooky night for the Fall Fling! The spirit of Halloween was all over the inside and outside of the ballroom. Still that skeleton that greeted guests at the ballroom entrance haunts me!

2019 FADS Fall Fling – Professional Shows

To cap the event, the professionals that danced with students all day put on a show. Partnering with other professionals allows them to demonstrate a higher level for the students in attendance. Giving the dance fans something to shoot for in their dancing is a great way to end this event. I know everyone will be back at the studio to start working for the next one. We hope to see you there!

On this occasion, the venue was the ballroom at the Dulles Hilton. Although this was a new venue for us, we really liked the setup of this room. Being that they had high ceilings, and plenty of room, the flashes really popped. With this in mind, I did not have any issues with making images. However, I did think it lessened the Halloween effect in the room. For this reason, I made all the room photos with the flashes off. When that was done, the colors of the walls really came out – spooky!

Thank you to everyone that purchased photos or videos! Indeed the support for our photography is paramount for us to continue doing this. If you have prepaid for your images please contact your studio. Following delivery, they will have all of the photos and videos that we have of your dancing.

To finish the Spring Fling, the professionals at the studios performed a series of showcases for the crowd. Overall, this was an awesome display of their talents! In the event that you were not familiar dance, or you were looking to expand your style, this was for you. Not only were there dances that incorporated syllabus figures, but the professionals could freestyle depending on the music.

Finally I would like to thank Brianna one more time for the initiation! We really enjoyed working with you and the participating studios. We look forward to your next event!
