In a few weeks, we’ll be going up to Atlantic City, NJ for the American Star Ball. This will be our 4th time covering this event as the official photographers. This year, the event is under new ownership, Amanda and Ilya Reyzin. I was happy that they wanted to continue working with us at the event. We try to work with competition organizers to get them the best images of dancers and venues so that they have images to promote their event and give dancers dynamic images to take home from the event.
If we are a part of a decision for dancers whether to attend an event, I would be very proud. When we got to events, we are asked our upcoming schedules, so I hope at least some are tracking with what we are doing. I’m sure there will be lots of changes with the event this year, but I am excited about getting the chance to cover them for everyone that plans to attend this year.
