I have received some emails about the Titles I made for the posters on yesterday’s post. This came from my imitation of the American Star Ball logos on their website which I really like. Now graphic design is not something I have worked with much, but I know enough to be dangerous, and I have an appreciation for great design.
The first part of making the image was to find similar fonts to the ones in the logo, then I had to reach way back into Google to find out how to make a star using the WingDings fonts. That may have been the hardest part of the whole process. After that, I made the text into a path, and filled it with a patriotic color palette fitting the text. I played with the gradients until I got something that really resembles the Stars and Stripes of the flag.
