Pro-Am Dance Competition
I really enjoyed participating in this competition! Not only was this a nice setting for dance photos, but they added unique elements over the weekend. Firstly, there was a charitable component to some of the heats. At the end of the competition, the organizers donated to the Asheville Humane Society from the proceeds. Moreover, a resident of the Society visited with the dancers after dinner! With all the dog lovers in the crowd they were a big hit!
Professional Show
To conclude the event, Mykyta Serdyuk and Anna Krasnoshapka danced an amazing show! Their performance was in your face being that they were sos close to the audience! From a photographer perspective, my low angle and lighting worked well in this situation.
Finally thanks to Meghan and Jake for inviting me to their competition! Since we have never worked together directly, I thank them for the support. When in the Asheville area, go visit them at Wave Dance Studio. Likewise, be sure to come to their competition next year!
