2016 Fall Freestyles photos Expiring

The photos from last September’s 2016 Fall Freestyles event are expiring at the TimeLine Media proofing site on Monday. It seems a long time ago, but the photos will be up a little longer. However, after they are removed, you will not be able to see them online any longer. This is the last chance to see them before they are archived. Given that we have some new events scheduled for 2017, we need to make room for them. Thanks to everyone that came by to view and purchase photos from this event! Here is the link:

To complete the dancing for the weekend, professionals from the studios danced 6 great shows. Because I had an accident with spilled milk, I had to make a lighting change. On account of dried milk on my umbrellas, I did not use them this weekend. Overall, I was happy with how these came out! Especially in this large ballroom, I did not see a big difference. This may be my new default setup for ballroom lighting. At this point, the time savings in setting up is worth it. Not to mention, I am not sending more gear into the air. I am looking for to more Arthur Murray events this year!

Tysons Corner Center

Getting dynamic images of the 2016 shopping center media displayed at Tysons Corner Center was a regular assignment for me. Prior to these projects, these ads would blend into the background. Since I had to concentrate on finding these throughout the mall, I was astonished at how many there were!

Large hanging posters are the easiest to see walking through the halls to be sure. Their large print and graphics allow them to be viewed from farther away. Moreover their longer viewing distance makes them able to be seen for longer.

Although digital signage is starting to grow through the mall, these static displays still impact in ways that digital cannot. Now that the printing techniques for vinyl media is so much better, this elevator became a center piece. Fashion Court has a 2-level elevator that can be wrapped. As can be seen in these images, having two levels for one client dominates the space while giving ample room for product information.

2017 January Mixer

Tysons Tower Club

With the changing of the calendar, I have decided to join the Tysons Chamber of Commerce. Given that I was introduced to the organization by the TEDxTysons group, I was impressed with the members. Following some discussions with other business owners, I decided to have TimeLine Media join this year. In light of my membership, I went to the 2017 January mixer at the Tysons Tower Club. At the mixer, guest speakers Brad Edwards and Darrel Green addressed the attendees to explain their new roles. They are former members of the Washington Redskins and played during the winning years! Now, they are in the athletic department at George Mason University. Even if their playing days are behind them, they were popular personalities at the mixer.
