DC Dance Challenge – sale ending

You will still be able to view and share the photos on there until next February, but the 20% off sale on all products will expire tonight. Thanks to everyone that has visited over the last 2 weeks! We have sent prints and digital images to lots of you. It is so nice to see them pop up on Facebook and other social media. It is so nice to see dancers enjoying their images after working so hard on their school figures and routines to perform for the judges.

One of the highlights of the day was Rie and Fabio’s performance during the “Dancing with the DCDC Stars” competition. It was a fun number with lots of nice moments thrown in the middle of some great dancing. The best routines have both – entertaining expressions for the audience, mixed with good technique. This first photo was one of my favorites from the day:

The judges were really impressed with what Rie and Fabio put together in this piece. Agreeing with the audience, one of the judges awarded them a perfect 10!

It was a fun way to add something different to the competition. Congratulations!

Travel Day

After a long weekend of covering the 2013 New Jersey State Open, we are heading home. After the travel day today, I will be working on making sure all the photos are looking their best, then I’ll upload them to the proofing website so that all of you can view and share them. We will also be organizing them by the man’s number so that it will be easier for you to find.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by to say hello this weekend! It was so nice to catch up with people that we have seen before, and to make some new dance friends. We were so glad to hear such nice comments from people that stopped to watch the slideshow and look for photos on the tablets. We just tried to keep the photos as updated as we could, so it was only organized by time danced. When they go up on the website we will have them by dancer number to make it easier to find your photos. At least you will only be going through photos of familiar faces!

Thanks also to Susan and Roxanne Ardary, and new co-owner Tom Rzepnicki for having us be a vendor for their great event! It was very smoothly run, and I am sure they will have great reviews from the teachers, dancers, and guests that spent part of their weekend with them in Atlantic City. Day 2 – New Jersey State Open

Today we do Day 2 of the 2013 New Jersey State Open. We had a great day yesterday covering the first day. The heats were very smoothly run throughout the day even though we did not have many long breaks in the action. The judges, organizers, and emcee kept things running early for most of the day. We have another good collection of photos so far, and we are ready to make more today. Stay tuned for updates on when they will be ready to view sometime next weekend. Thank you!

This is my best hope at this time for the timeline. Of course, we still have to finish all our coverage today. Afterwards we need to travel home before starting the post processing of all the images. Of course we will sort the photos by gentlemen’s number. Being that we are more familiar with the dancers, this should not take that long. If you have any special need to have images earlier, please let me know. At this point, I have already had some requests. As soon as I can get you photos, I will accommodate them. Thank you!
