In July and August, the Summer Concert series continued at Tysons Corner Center. Similarly to the previous post, the crowds came out in the nice weather to hear the performers. While the large crowds made it difficult to move around, it made it very easy to get crowds in photos!

Shawn Hook

The 2016 July Concerts kept the momentum from June. Being a piano student for most of my life, it was fun to see a piano on the stage. Shawn Hook had a powerful voice to accompany his keyboarding talent.

Magic

With one of the biggest hits of the summer, Magic had a large crowd out on the Plaza. During their performance, I went up to the roof. To illustrate how large the crowd was, this gave the best angle. Moreover it added to the variety of crowd photos from this series.

Colton Dixon

To close out the concert series, Colton Dixon really wowed the crowds! 91.9 WGTS always packs the space, and this performance added a lot of effects with lighting and smoke. I look forward to see how they can top this next summer!

Professional Show

Following dinner and awards, we were treated to a professional show. Emilia Poghosyan and Hyak Balasanyan put on a sharp display of their artistry. Certainly they were technically amazing dancers, but their routines were also FUN! Emphatically, the crowd responded to their performances. Surely they connected with the audience with their engaging, and entertaining dancing.

Finally, I wanted to thank Marielle for inviting us back to her event this year. As well as being a supporter of our photography, she is a wonderful host to the dancers. 2016 Spring Freestyles Expiring

Professional Staff Shows

Obviously this was a different event setup. Because of the new scheduling, a two-day event became one. Moreover, everyone had to dance on Sunday to participate. In order to make this work, there were more people on the dance floor at once. Likewise, it was much more busy for the teachers dancing with students. Nevertheless, they did a great job during the heats, and changing quickly for the professional shows. Although it was a compressed schedule, we still had a great finale for the professionals to show off their skills. Of course this is inspiring to see, but it also is great marketing for the studios. Selfishly, it makes for great photo marketing too. Enjoy!
