Last weekend was a nice time to drive south to the 2019 Asheville Dance Classic. On this occasion, the TimeLine Media mobile was fully packed both with gear and passengers. My wife could make the trip with me this year, so we could explore a little more this time. Of course Meghan and Jake Lavender were terrific hosts to us and the participants in their competition this year. To see photos from the event, you can click this link:

Road Trip

We took the opportunity to explore a little of the Asheville, NC area on this trip. At this time, many places were starting to bring out their holiday decorations. This would be perfect timing with the fall leaves almost fallen completely from the trees.

Certainly this area will be well decked out with twinkling lights to go along with the cozy place to eat around town. Moreover we enjoyed browsing the number of businesses centered around the arts including galleries and museums. I can see why Wave Studio has so many enthusiastic dancers that participate in their local competition. On the dance floor, some four-legged friends visited from the Humane Society of Asheville. All mambo heats contributed to their organization!

Tysons Corner Center

On the blog, this is a post about the 2019 Santa Brandbox visit! Since this was the first event with Santa this season, I was excited about catching up. At this time, the BrandBox marketing team wanted to get photos of Santa visiting the stores as they ramp up for the holidays. Concurrently, there are a couple of stores that are not quite ready for opening. Being that Santa is familiar with construction work, he visited some of the new spaces to check on their progress. On a side note, I have a time lapse of the construction of one of the spaces, so maybe Santa will be in a couple of frames! I am excited about being the paparazzo for Santa again this year.

Tysons Tower Club

The Tysons Chamber held the 2019 Tysons 2050 this week at the McLean Hilton in short to envision the future. Being a signature event for the Chamber, a lot of work went into this evening to demonstrate the reach of the Chamber. Not only were there 3 different panels of speakers, but the atrium had a technology expo with area companies presenting. Similarly to previous years, Live, Work, and Play panels spoke in the ballroom. Given that some large projects were recently approved, there was a buzz in the room. Visions of 2050 were already in motion at the present time!

Networking

Prior to the start of the panel presentations, there was plenty of time for networking. Given that making connections is the main goal of the Chamber, this achieved that end. Equally important to the panel photos is seeing how and where people make business connections. Afterwards I sent these images to the marketing committee. On this occasion there was plenty to showcase why people should join.

2019 Tysons 2050

Since I could not make last year’s event, this was a new setup for me. Although I have been in this ballroom many times for dance events, this was a new physical layout. Thus I knew where to setup lights so I could make some better images in this dark room!
