More American Star Ball photos – Off the Dance Floor

It has been a busy few days of photography! I am continuing to edit the photos from the American Star Ball, but I took a break to cover an assignment in downtown DC this morning. Rest assured, I am back working on the action photos. In any case, I am hoping to post them as soon as I can. In the meantime, here are more images from off the dance floor from the Atlantic City competition. Enjoy!

UPDATE! Now the photos from this event are now ready to view at the proofing site. I have received feedback from dancers that they happen upon different posts from an event. So, I want to ensure that everyone that sees a post knows when the photos are ready to view. New Jersey Road Trip

Yes, this post is late, but we were traveling today! We made us road trip to Atlantic City, NJ to photograph another ballroom dance competition this weekend. Friday to Sunday will be the American Star Ball at the Golden Nugget. We are setting up now, and will be ready bright and early for the dancers. The ballroom is decked out in red and will look great in the photos. Check back here for updates!

Prior to getting to the event venue, I made some photos along the way. Of course, I needed some blog content, however, I also tested some of the new apps available for photo editing. Since the photos reside on the computer that they were created, it is easier to work on these on the phone. While on a short stop on the way there, I was able to test some of the options of Snapseed. While I can easily tell the difference, this can keep creativity going when your camera gear is packed away!
