American Star Ball – Revisited

It was exciting to learn that a few of our photos from the 2013 American Star Ball appeared in the latest issue of Dance Beat magazine! This is a great resource for the latest in ballroom dance competitions. There are write ups on the competitors, the results, and the overall event after it has taken place.

We were more than happy to provide some of our photos to the organizers to submit along with the article. It is always nice to be published, and I hope to be getting a copy of the issue soon. All the photos from this weekend are still available to view on the proofing website.

Of course, the professional dance competitions were packed with beautiful photos. However, all weekend was full of great dancing. On this occasion, the ballroom was setup very nicely with saturated curtains as a background. It really makes the subjects pop off the page. Here are more of my favorites from the event. Enjoy!

Early Bird – American Star Ball

Today is the last day to get any of the photos from the 2013 American Star Ball for 20% off the normal price. This is the early bird sale after the first release of the images for viewing. You will still be able to view the photos on the website after today, only the sale is ending. They will be kept on the website until September 23, 2013. There are many orders to place from the weekend, so this will be a quick post.

This next photo was one of my favorites from the entire weekend. I had seen them dance this line a few times, but this was the only one where they were lined up directly in front of me. I was took the photo a few times just to make sure I had it for the few seconds they held the pose!

2013 Sale Ending – American Star Ball

Just a quick reminder note today. I wanted to let everyone know of the early bird 2013 sale ending on photo purchases from the American Star Ball. At this time the sale will expire on Monday, June 10, 2013. In summary, the sale is 20% off your entire purchase and includes prints and digital file downloads. In the hope that this will explain further, there are 3 different sizes of digital downloads available. The small download is a good size for email, blog, and Facebook use. As can be seen on this blog, these images are small download size. The medium download can be printed up to 4×6 size at the lab of your choice. And the large download can be printed up to 8×12. Of course having the digital download will help find photos in the future. Since you will have the filename with the download, it will make it easier to find in the archive later.
