Editing Update

Thank you to everyone that visited the website yesterday with the expiring photos. It was altogether a very busy traffic day. Likewise I have a lot of orders to place with the lab. If you did order prints, they will be sent to the lab by this morning and should be sent this week. For the event editing, I am concurrently working through the Arthur Murray Summer Showcase photos. There is some editing progress being made!

Out of over 8000 photos, I still have 6600+ to edit prior to sending to the website. I am on schedule t complete these by Saturday. Stay tuned here, or sign up for the email list at the proofing website [ http://proofs.timelinedc.com ] to get the latest updates.

As a sneak peak, the photos are looking really nice! There were some entertaining routines at the showcase, and you should be proud of your performances. Here are some photos of Lynn, John, Leonard, and Bobby – the judges that evaluated the dancers over the weekend.

Successful Showcase!

To say it was a whirlwind day at the Arthur Murray Showcase yesterday would definitely be an understatement. There was a great energy through all the ballrooms both on the dance floor and off! The crowds did not have to be encouraged to clap or yell for their favorite dancers, and it helped the performers put on their best. We made over 8000 photos yesterday, and I will be editing them this week. I hope to have them all up by Saturday for viewing, so stay tuned here or to the Facebook page for updates. Showcase Parade of Dancers

After all the dancers with couples for most of the day, the parade was a nice change of pace. The crowds at these events are surprisingly ready to take the floor at any time. It is a particularly nice marketing image for Arthur Murray!

Arthur Murray Summer Showcase today

Today is the DC Area Arthur Murray Summer Showcase. I am packing up the car with all the photo gear! I am excited for seeing the routines and the competition today, and hope we make some great photos. Within a week after the event, I will post the photos to the regular proofing site here:

These posters are some of the prints we will be displaying at the booth. When you stop by throughout the event, you can see these printed large! In light of showing studios what these events are like, we give these posters to someone from the respective studios. At this point, some of the pros look to see if we selected their show to be printed. Seeing their reaction to the work is inspiring for me to keep creating dynamic images from these performances!
