After many requests they were renewed for people that wanted to get photo gifts. In short, the events that will expire are:

Events that were scheduled to expire after Monday will still be available to view on the website:

To be sure, I’ll be looking back on these events on the blog again. Your photos from previous events can still be retrieved from the archive. If you are interested in getting photos from them, send me an email! Given that they are archived electronically, they can be found. Although there is a $30 to go back into the archive old photos can still be retrieved. If you have any questions, please send me an email- rassi at timelinedc.com, or give me a call: 703-864-8208.

Goodbye to 2012 as another new year starts, and photography continues! Yes, it is the time for making resolutions, and trying desperately to keep them, so here I go. I will try to blog more often, and give you some idea as to what I am up to in photography these days. TimeLine Media did lots of events last year especially covering ballroom dancing. Additionally, I photography weddings, events, and head shots for clients.

In 2012, I have upgraded a lot of the tools I use for producing images, and I have also tweaked how I capture create photos. At this time, I hope to tell you more about them here on the blog. If you have any projects in 2013 where you think that I my photography could help, please contact me here: rassi at timelinedc.com, or call me- 703-864-8208 and I’ll be happy to talk with you about your ideas. Finally, I wish you the best in 2013,! I hope you’ll come back as I continue to post updates as they come up. I can post many times during the weeks this year. Keep me honest to keep blogging this year!

A Cappella – The Sing Off – SingStrong

Reston, Virginia

This is the third season for the NBC Show ‘The Sing Off’ which airs on Monday nights. Being that I am a former member of Juxtaposition, a college a cappella group from Virginia Tech, I was automatically hooked on this show. (I spent a lot of my extra college money on CDs which has transitioned to a downloading habit!) When this show debuted, I was excited to have another vehicle to see new a cappella groups.

There were groups that I was very familiar with and some that I had never been exposed to performing. There was an audience for the show from the first season. Consequently, there were an uptick in the amount of internet traffic regarding this form of music. At this time, I was lucky to find out that an a cappella music festival was held locally called SingStrong. The organizers graciously gave me access to photograph the groups, workshops, and the concerts. All of the proceeds which were donated in support of Alzheimer’s research.

Performers

The featured performers were prominently featured in the The Sing Off including Nota in 2010 and Street Corner Symphony in 2011. This was an amazing opportunity for me to see what was new and upcoming in a cappella up close with the latest in techniques, technologies and musicians that are pushing creative limits and making amazing music. This season is the largest yet – more groups, more rounds of competition, and another episode is on tonight. Check it out, and if you are in the DC area, or love to watch live music, check out SingStrong for next year’s schedule.
