Miriam and Ahmad

It was a beautiful engagement party in downtown D.C. at the Washington Marriott for this Miriam and Ahmad. Lots of family and friends enjoying great music and dance. Additionally, they had a great tasting dinner in between! Tom from Suburban Video was likewise there to cover the event on video. He was a great videographer to work with especially with lots of dancing, and groups to cover in and out of the ballroom.

In addition to all the guests, there were some beautiful details to photograph at their event. Undeniably some guests really put effort to beautify their gifts. With this in mind, I took some time get some detail photos.

At this time, the families that were coming together were very celebratory! On account of this couple coming together, they were excited about the future of these two. Miriam and Ahmad were welcoming and accommodating to everyone that came to attend their celebration.

A live band played most of the night. As car be seen, many of the guest took advantage of their performances, and got out on the dance floor! I enjoyed all the happy photos all over the ballroom.

Thanks to Abdullah for recommending me to photograph his brother’s engagement. You have been a great friend at work, and I’m glad you thought of me. I had a great time!

KISS Wedding books

Digital wedding albums is rising in popularity these days. The “magazine” style album is a more traditional look compared to the matted albums from Seldex. In searching the internet for these contemporary digital albums, it becomes dizzying with the amount of options. Additionally there are many styles that can be used to customize you wedding album. After much searching and viewing other studio samples, I am going with the KISS Wedding books. With the KISS Wedding books, they are making it as simple as it can be. Moreover, the quality of the books is outstanding. The lab for printing and assembling is in the US making the communication and shipping times much faster than with other album makers.

Cover for KISS Wedding books

The outside covering for transporting and storing the book is not my style. However, it is very sturdy and made of a canvas material. It is soft enough not to scratch the cover of the book.

KISS Wedding books

The outside leather cover is available in 7 different colors.

For any panoramic spreads, there is no space, but a tiny fold down the middle of the book. It easily lays flat on a table for viewing.

As a photographer the KISS customer service was excellent – they give you quick feedback on the status of your order – checking the files prior to printing to ensure the best output. The ordering, processing, and shipment of the book was very easy which should translate to quicker production and final shipment to the newly-married couple.

Thank you!

Thank you to all of the brides-to-be and their family and friends that stopped by the TimeLine Media booth at the Dulles Expo Center this past Sunday. We were a part of the Washington Bridal Showcase. There was an amazing amount of people that attended this event especially considering it was Superbowl Sunday! If you are at all planning a wedding in the D.C. area, this is where you need to go. You will get the most complete participation of wedding vendors in the area. In attendance were photographers to florists, reception sites, review sites, transportation, cakeries, etc.

I also have to thank our neighboring booths: weddzilla.com and the Thomas Birkby House. We had a lot of traffic come by, and we got a chance to give our information to a lot of brides that were attracted to their displays as well as ours! Accordingly, I felt like my placement was in the middle of other outstanding professionals which made me look better!

If you did get to see us at the show, please drop us a line – we’d love to know what you thought of our presentation. We will definitely be back to showcase our work at a future show.

Thank you to everyone that stopped by the TimeLine Media wedding photography booth last weekend
