2016 Baltimore Dancesport Challenge Released

Last week we photographed the 2016 Baltimore Dancesport Challenge held at the BWI Westin. After all the dancing was over, all that’s left are the photos! So, we came back, sorted them by number, and posted for you to see.

Thanks to Marielle Pabon for inviting us to cover her event again this year. Although our company covered the 2015 event, I had to send a substitute. By comparison, there has been a nice update to the ballroom decoration. Because I am a technology nerd, I really like the new gobo projections. While the logo can still be seen, it is not as reflective. Since I use flashes on all the photos, this makes a good balance!

2015 New Jersey State Open expiring

The from the 2015 New Jersey State Open are expiring at the TimeLine Media proofing site! Firstly thank to the Roxanne, Susan, and Tom, the organizers who invited us to their event. As I have noted in previous posts, I appreciate all the support. Indeed they have partnered and referred us to grow our business over the years.

The ballroom for this event was very long. Besides being a great distance for my remote controls to work, it was also a large floor. Consequently, I only had lights setup on one of the short sides of the ballroom.

Finally, we wish all the dancers and organizers continued luck with their dancing endeavors! Despite this being a passion, or hobby, so much work went into this weekend. Afterwards, I had some editing and posting of the photos to finish, but it was a success. Eventually the photos will be removed, so please view them soon!

2016 USA Dance Released

Mid-Atlantic Championships

The photos from the 2016 USA Dance released of the Mid-Atlantic Championships held last weekend! Although we have previously covered this event, we did not make it last year. Of course we were excited when we were free this year. Without a doubt the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center is one of the best ballrooms in the DC Area. At this time, we implemented a new strategy for photos. In case you have never attended this event, it is very large! Not to mention, there are very few breaks throughout the event. So our solution was to have dancers sign up to have us photograph them. Thus, we can concentrate on those that definitely wanted photos. Further, we could make more photos of them so they had a lot to choose from later.
