Last week I photographed the 2017 holiday party for the Tysons Partnership. On this occasion, the attendees were afforded a sneak peek at the new Isabella Eatery at Tysons Galleria. Overall, I have enjoyed meeting members of the Tysons Partnership at the events I have photographed this year. However, this event I was equally looking forward to seeing this new space that will soon be open. From what I have seen just walking through the space, the design was one of the top priorities when developing this space. With this in mind, I tried to incorporate as many of the textures into the photos. Lighting, wood panels, and the food stalls are a departure from eateries that previously occupied the space. Along with the enthusiastic managers and Mike Isabella himself, it was a great night for photos!

2017 Santa Breakfast

Tysons Corner Center

HO HO HO – it is time for the 2017 Santa Breakfast! Last week Santa arrived by train at the 3rd level food court for his annual breakfast. Darik from 94.7 Fresh FM was there to announce all the events throughout the morning. Those Funny Little People also came to perform a show with Santa at his set. As can be seen in the photos, many people came for the breakfast, and stayed to get a moment with Santa. Similarly to last year, the line to see him was very long! Frances and Carlo Wedding

The holidays came so quickly that I missed blogging about the Frances and Carlo wedding from last fall. Prior to their wedding day, we met for an engagement session in DC. From that shoot, they had a large print made to display at their reception. After meeting Frances at her hotel where she was getting ready, we headed to Alexandria, VA for the wedding ceremony.

The Basilica of Saint Mary

For the wedding, we went to this beautiful church in Alexandria, Virginia. Family and friends packed the aisles in order to celebrate Carlo and Frances. After the wedding, the beautiful fall evening gave us the opportunity for some beautiful portraits outside. The Wilkes Street tunnel was only a couple of blocks away. This is undoubtedly a popular place for portraits in Old Town.

Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Following the important group photos, we drove to Fort Belvoir’s Officer’s Club. Since Carlo is in the Air Force, they had access to this beautiful venue for their reception. Following their sparkler exit, we concluded a beautiful wedding day. Best of luck to both of them as they grow their family!
