The Tysons Chamber held their 2018 Board Installation event last week at the Tower Club. Virginia Case, the Chair of the Board, welcomed members and guests to the breakfast. Since I have worked with Virginia on projects in the Marketing Committee, I was happy to see her taking over the Board!
As can be seen from his frequent appearances in Tysons, Congressman Gerry Connolly is a supporter of the Chamber. Given that the economic engine of the area contributes so much to the Virginia economy, he gives updates frequently here. Similarly issues in the state house are updated by Delegate Mark Keam from Vienna. In short, it is an important ability for the Chamber and its members to have a dialog with these important leaders. Not only will they be helping to give us an outlet to voice concerns, but they keep us updated on the latest issues affecting how we develop our businesses.
